Job description
The Nurse Academy is looking for someone who has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of RN experience. As a member of our team, you’ll work alongside other talented and dedicated educators who share a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Our nursing school is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering lessons: Instructors must plan and deliver lessons that are engaging, effective, and appropriate to the course.
- Assessing student progress: Teachers must regularly assess student progress to ensure that they are meeting learning objectives, and adjust their teaching strategies as needed to support student success.
- Continuing professional development: Teachers must engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with nursing knowledge and skills.
- Maintaining records and documentation: Teachers must maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and other relevant information, and ensure that all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current and active professional license as a registered nurse in the State of California; at least 2 years RN experience; teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
